Dianne is a retired art teacher from the Montour School District in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  She has had a passion for art all of her life, but started studying painting seriously over the past 30 years.  Dianne has studied under such renowned artists as James Sulkowski, James Douglas Adams, Thomas McNickel, Ron Donoughe, and Nelson Shanks.   Her artwork has been in local as well as national artshows winning numerous awards including "Best of Show".  She is a member of Pittsburgh Society of Artists, Western Pennsylvania Plein Air Painters and belongs to the Beaver Valley Artists Association and West Hills Art League. Dianne represented Pittsburgh Society of Artists at the Three RIvers Arts Festival by having a plein air workshop at the Point. This proved to be very successful!
Dianne loves to travel and paint. Her most recent trip was to Belize this past fall.  She has painted in Monet's Gardens in France, Baja, Mexico and the Galapagos Islands, as well as numerous other locations. Dianne also teaches oil painting classes at Gilberti Fine Arts Studio in Coraopolis. Her next painting adventure will be in Tanzania, Africa!! ....again....to be continued......
